Why Unmounted Stamps?

Which Block?
Choosing the correct acrylic block for your stamp....

 

  • Choose a block from your set that fits your entire stamp.
  • Allow about 1/4" space in all directions around the edges of the dye
  • Proper fitting of the stamp will assist in a clear even impression

 

Embossing
How to create professional looking raised effects...

 

What you need...
 
How its done...
  • Ink stamp with pigment ink
  • Apply inked stamp to desired surface
  • Sprinkle clear embossing powder over wet ink
  • Melt embossing powder with heat tool
 
Helpful Hint...
For the ultimate metallic effect- use Encore pigment ink and metallic embossing powder.

 

Mounting
How to mount rubber stamps using EZ Mount & acrylic blocks...

 

  • Carefully trim rubber dye close to image.
  • Remove film from sticky side of the EZ Mount.
  • Place stamp on EZ Mount mounting foam.
  • Trim around the stamp again.
  • Remove the paper from other side of the mounting foam.
  • Store stamps on storage pages until ready to use.
  • When ready to use, simply place the stamp on the acrylic block and the static cling will keep it in place!!

Stamping 101
How to use rubber stamps...

 

  • Mount rubber dye of choice to acrylic block.
  • Press stamp into an ink pad. A good beginning pad is a raised dye pad.
  • Press inked stamp firmly onto card stock. Do not wiggle or rock stamp.
  • Clean stamp with our stamp cleaner after each use.
  • Remove stamp from block and store on our storage pages  in a binder
